Megan C. Rogers, MA, LPC, Registered Play Therapist
Megan has more than 11 years of clinical experience and expertise working with adolescents and children in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress and trauma disorders. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy, and is certified in Play Therapy as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Megan is a level one instructor for Parent-Child Relational Training (CPRT).
Megan has given professional presentations and trainings on topics such as sexual trauma, self-injurious behaviors, and emotional dysregulation in children and adolescents. Megan’s current interest includes using Interpersonal Neurobiology to help clients improve relationships and effectively cope with difficult emotions.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. She is a member of the Association of Play Therapy and the Alamo Chapter of Play Therapy. Megan brings her Catholic-Christian understanding of the dignity and value of each person into her clinical work. Megan is also dedicated to providing therapy services to military dependents as a retired military spouse.
